Economic Justice

The first Ventura County Women's Forum took place at the Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley. The keynote titled "Thriving in the Global Economy" was presented by Jon P. Goodman, PhD, President, Town Hall Los Angeles. The day’s sessions included How Are We Part of this Global Economy?, MOVING VENTURA COUNTY AHEAD in the Changing Global Economy, Meeting Challenges and Welcoming Opportunities: Empowering Our Community, and Thinking Globally and Acting Locally for Economic Justice. The Barbarians for The Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence provided Barbed Art: Reconstructed Fashion Dolls" as centerpieces at the lunch.
